About NAT Survey AI

Built on 20 years
of civil engineering
experience.

Practical site knowledge, 3D modelling and AI-assisted workflows — brought together to help project teams work with clearer construction information.

Why we do it

Better information
for the people
who build.

A project team needs more than an attractive model. It needs to understand what the geometry represents, where the levels came from and what can be used for the next stage of work.

NAT Survey AI exists to connect drawings, survey data and practical site requirements. Our purpose is to make complex information easier to understand, reduce avoidable manual repetition and support better-informed decisions.

That may mean a road model for setting-out preparation, a formation surface, clearer drainage geometry, a design-versus-as-built comparison or a small tool that makes a recurring task more consistent. The starting point is always the same: what does the project actually need?

01 · CLARITY

Make the information useful.

Bring geometry, levels and scope together so the next person can understand the model and its intended use.

02 · PRACTICALITY

Build around the workflow.

Choose the model, file format and level of detail around the receiving team, software and agreed deliverables.

03 · ACCOUNTABILITY

Keep assumptions visible.

Record source references, highlight missing information and distinguish a modelled result from an approved design decision.

What we do

One practical approach.
Many types of project.

We prepare 3D construction models, CAD information, survey outputs and workflow tools for defined project needs. The service is not limited to a single sector or project type.

BESS is one example of the approach, not the boundary of the service. Explore the project example ↗

Who is behind the work

Karol Krysiak

Site Engineer · NAT Survey AI

NAT Survey AI is led by Karol Krysiak, a site engineer with 20 years of experience in civil engineering and construction. His work brings together setting out, survey data processing, CAD model preparation and design-versus-as-built review.

This site-focused background shapes the approach: understand the source information, make the required output clear and check that the model represents the intended construction geometry.

NAT Survey AI combines that experience with CAD automation and AI-assisted workflows. The aim is not to replace engineering judgement with software, but to use technology where it can make practical work more structured, understandable and repeatable.

How we work

Agree the scope.
Keep the source visible.

  1. 01 / UNDERSTAND

    Review the brief.

Identify available drawings, survey files, revisions, coordinate references, levels and missing information.

  2. 02 / DEFINE

    Agree the output.

Confirm scope, formats, target workflow, review requirements and the handling of revisions before work starts.

  3. 03 / BUILD

    Model with purpose.

Prepare the agreed geometry, data or automation while keeping source references and assumptions traceable.

  4. 04 / CHECK

    Review and deliver.

Check relevant levels, continuity, boundaries and export structure, then state the intended use and limitations.

What we stand for

AI-assisted.
Engineering-led.

AI can support data organisation, scripting, repeatable tasks and reporting. It does not establish missing design intent, decide acceptance criteria or provide independent project approval.

We keep the distinction between source facts, assumptions and model outputs visible. Project-specific checks and the intended use of client information and external AI tools should be agreed as part of the workflow.

Sharing practical knowledge

Tools and skills
that support real work.

Alongside project delivery, we are developing practical AI + CAD learning resources for engineers, surveyors, designers, quantity surveyors and planners.

The focus is on understanding data, building useful tools and checking the result — not using AI without technical control. Contact us to discuss training interests or a focused 1:1 session.
